Webinar: Let’s Talk: Inclusion and Housing Instability

Jan 11, 2022 | Webinars

Join Director of Educational Services, John Raffaele and this month’s International Journal for Direct Support Professionals author Chris Jordan Stevens as they discuss housing and inclusion.

A home is not just a shelter – it’s the central site of human actualization. Having options that are both affordable and accessible is the ultimate inclusion litmus test, and it’s one that is often overlooked. Fully participating in the community is all but impossible without proper housing. In this webinar we will dig into these concepts and explore the relation between inclusion and housing. We will also explore some ideas on how to support individuals who are facing housing instability.

This webinar is a companion to this month’s International Journal for Direct Support, written by Christopher Jordan-Stevens. To read the article entitled, “Inclusion and Housing Instability: A Beginners Guide to Navigating Barriers to Housing,” click here
