Toward this vision:

About the E-Badge Academy:

In 2019, the NADSP launched its digital certification program so direct support professionals and frontline supervisors can get credit for competency by achieving stackable electronic badges, or e-badges, which can then be used to attain nationally recognized certification through the NADSP. The E-Badge Academy provides practical, tangible, and demonstrable recognition of the knowledge, skills, and practices of direct support professionals and frontline supervisors. The E-Badge Academy has improved direct support professional and frontline supervisor practice standards and provided much needed recognition for the complexity of these challenging positions. The program has significantly reduced turnover for direct support professionals and frontline supervisors who achieve certification in agencies & states that built career ladder programs.
