Receive 14 Months of NADSP Membership For The Price of 12 Months

by | Oct 1, 2023 | News

The mission of the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) is to elevate the status of direct support professionals (DSPs) by improving practice standards, promoting system reform, and advancing their knowledge, skills, and values. Due to the variety of multifaceted, complex issues affecting DSPs, this is not NADSP’s mission alone – it’s a matter of necessity that the entire human services field focus on these efforts.

NADSP Membership has established an interconnected network of DSPs, Frontline Supervisors, self-advocates, family members, human service organizations, healthcare professionals, social workers, statewide groups, national associations, and more. Through this collaboration, we can collectively address topics like high turnover, low wages, lacking benefits, limited opportunities for career advancement, and more. NADSP is the premier source for the most timely, relevant, and reliable news about the work of DSPs – especially surrounding national issues such addressing the COVID-19 pandemic, creating a Standard Occupational Classification for DSPs, and advocating for policy that advances the interests of this essential workforce.

Now is the time to join the current NADSP Members around the country and create a world with a highly qualified and professional direct support workforce that partners with, supports, and empowers people with disabilities to lead a life of their choosing. The NADSP Membership year typically follows the calendar year – January 1 through December 31 – yet new members can join us now to receive 14 months of NADSP Membership for the price of the 12 months. This means you will be a NADSP Member from now until December 31st, 2024.
