Jun 16, 2026 | Events, News, Webinars

In this live webinar, the NADSP will provide an overview of recent state certification pilot programs.

As of this moment, NADSP Certification is being pursued by 27,000 direct support professionals in over 40 states through more than 650 different organizations. Most recently, three states, New York, Georgia, and Tennessee evaluated their pilot programs with significant findings. The results of their recently published studies clearly demonstrate that credentialing has a positive impact on workforce outcomes and organizational satisfaction.

The webinar will review each state’s program implementation along with the experience and satisfaction of the participants. We’ll discuss the impact on workforce outcomes and how this data can inform future investments. To conclude, we will discuss any future implementation with the states.  This webinar will be moderated by NADSP President and CEO, Joseph Macbeth. Our presenters include Dan Hermreck (Chief Innovation Officer), Susan Arwood (Director of Certification) and Kathy Brown (Regional Manager of E-Badge Academy Operations).
