Join NADSP for a free, 3-part ‘lunch and learn’ webinar series, all about supporting decision-making in the lives of people receiving services. Each 30 minute session builds on the previous, moving participants from conceptual understanding, to self-reflection and ethics, to practical application and advocacy. The series aligns with the NADSP Competency Area including Participant Empowerment and Person-Centered Practices.

In the final session, Supporting Choice While Balancing Risk, participants apply informed decision-making concepts to real-world support scenarios. Learners will examine how much information a person needs to make a good decision, how to present choices effectively, and how to balance autonomy with safety.
