We’re Hiring: E-Badge Certification Coordinator (FT)

The National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) is hiring! We are pleased to share the E-Badge Certification Pilot Program in New York state is expanding.  As part of this development, NADSP will be hiring at least one E-Badge Certification Coordinator.  This position will be funded to support this E-Badge Academy pilot throughout New York state.  Please note, this is a time limited position that ends October 31, 2025. The position is a full-time salary position.  Starting at $50,000 plus benefits.

E-Badge Academy Certification Coordinator (New York)

Assignment: New York State E-Badge Academy Pilot

 *This is a time limited position. Tenure for this position is from hire date to October 31, 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with participating entities to include E-Badge Academy users, representatives of contracted organizations and other established stakeholders.
  • Coordination and implementation of the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) E-Badge Academy with contracted organizations/institutions in the assigned region to include:
    • Participation as a local administrator for specific projects as assigned.
    • Oversight of E-Badge Academy platform for each sub portal
      • Enrollment of users
      • monitoring participation
      • data tracking and reports including certifications, time frames, seats occupied, etc.
      • Bonuses (if applicable)- tracking and validating certifications to qualify for Bonuses while maintaining record spreadsheets.
    • Schedule regular support meetings with Local Administrators participating in the project.
    • Provide ongoing technical support to Local Administrators and users upon request.
    • Serve as an E-Badge Reviewer for badges as assigned.
    • Must be available to travel as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be based in assigned region.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Familiarity with the NADSP and the NADSP E-Badge Academy a plus
  • Must be able to successfully pass the E-Badge Academy Reviewer Inter-Rater Reliability Quiz

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Experience as a direct support professional a plus.
