This month, we are revisiting the August issue of The International Journal for Direct Support Professionals, “Without Direct Support Professionals in My Life, I Don’t Have a Life.” On the next Let’s Talk webinar, self-advocate Bob Peterson and NADSP Director of Educational Services John Raffaele discuss self-determination and the importance of direct support professionals in Bob’s life. Bob and John will discuss how Bob’s quality of life is made possible through the work of direct support professionals. Additionally, they offer practical and realistic actions that can improve the status of direct support professionals.
